Celadon

Celadon is a glazing technique that results in a beautiful green hue. Before glazing, artisans layered the porcelain with slip (liquified clay, high in iron). The iron oxidises during the firing process and produces a rich green colour.

Ci Porcelain crafted our celadon collection with the utmost care and precision. Our celadon is reminiscent of the unique Yue ware, which originated from the Han Dynasty in China. Hence, our tableware consists of plates and cups with a brownish-green hue.
